Emergency Medicine Department

Government Medical College Started In. 1995 in year. 2021 Emergency Medicine department started in Government Medical College, Bhavnagar.

Dr. Jigna Dave is faciliting Head of Emergency Medicine, who is Head of Respiratory Medicine Dr. Parthraj Umat (Assistant Professor) and Dr. Jaldipsinh Gohil joined as senior resident. In Emergency Medicine at initial lead department was functional on primitive level with help of Respiratory Medicine department in RICU giving best quality care to critically ill patient.

At Present department is working with RICU. All invasive and non invasive procedures Like Intubation, Central venous catheterization, Mechanical ventilation, pharmacological and electrical cardioversion, cardiopulmonary resuscitation of ICU are carried out.
